, it has a vibrant atmosphere. Broomfield Park lies in the heart of Palmers Green. The fifty-four acre green space has plenty to offer families walkers and joggers. The park also has a model boating pond, an attractive lake and a bandstand.
Palmers Green has a varied housing stock of Edwardian and Victorian detached, semi-detached, and terraced properties. There are some conversions and new developments. Palmers Green Shopping Centre has many restaurants and cafes, pubs and High Street shops.
Palmers Green BR station is situated on Aldermans Hill and runs regular and frequent services into Moorgate. The nearest tube station is Southgate (Piccadilly Line) and the journey into Central London is about thirty six minutes. There are also numerous bus routes.
There are excellent local primary and secondary schools, including Palmers Green High School for girls. Hazelwood Primary School, St Monica’s RC Primary and St Michael at Bowes CE Junior.
